PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy policy.

The short version: this site does not ask you for anything, does not set cookies of its own, and does not run analytics. The longer version explains who else is involved when you load a page.

Last updated

The Lunara Edit (“we”, “us”) is published by Lunara LLC at www.lunaraedit.com. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit.

What we collect directly

Nothing. There is no newsletter signup, no account, no comment section, and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or anything else, and there is nowhere on this site to give it to us.

The one exception is if you choose to email us. In that case we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and we do not add you to any list or share it with anyone.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. We do not currently run any analytics — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no tracking pixels. We do not know who you are or which pages you read.

If that changes — analytics is a normal thing for a site like this to add eventually — this page will be updated before it goes live, and the date at the top will change.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like essentially every web host, Vercel records standard request information — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp — to serve the site, keep it up, and defend it against abuse. That data is handled under Vercel’s own privacy policy. We do not use it to build any profile of you.

Images loaded from other sites

Most images here are our own and served from this domain. Some are still loaded from third-party hosts — currently Unsplash. When your browser fetches one of those images, that host necessarily sees your IP address and user agent, exactly as if you had visited them directly. We are gradually replacing these with our own artwork.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or its affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser so a resulting purchase can be credited to us. That happens on their domain, under their privacy policy, and only if you click. We never see your payment details, your address, or what you bought — only aggregate reports of whether a purchase happened.

The programs involved are Amazon Associates (see the Amazon privacy notice) and Impact (see the Impact privacy policy). Full details of the commercial relationship are on the affiliate disclosure page.

Links to other sites

Where we link out — to Instagram, to a retailer, to an app — that site’s own privacy policy takes over the moment you arrive. We have no control over and take no responsibility for how other sites handle your data.

Children

This site is written for adults, largely parents. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since we do not collect information from anyone, this is a straightforward promise to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — the EU or UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA, and a growing number of other places — you have the right to ask what personal data an organization holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted.

For this site the answer is almost always “none”, unless you have emailed us, in which case it is your email and your message. Either way, write to hello@lunaraedit.com and we will tell you what we have and delete it if you ask. We do not sell personal information, and we would not know how to — we do not have any.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top changes with it. Material changes — adding analytics, a mailing list, or comments — will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
